The drive to Malibu that morning felt like a reset. After days of heavy gloom, the skies finally cleared and gave us perfect conditions for a full-day shoot that stretched late into the night. We had a storyboard in place because this film needed to capture more than the house itself. It needed to tell the lifestyle story.

This property offered everything: direct beach access, an artist’s studio, a detached guest house, a sauna, a pool, and complete privacy behind gates. We imagined the buyer as a new-money entrepreneur drawn to the Malibu rhythm, whether surfing in the morning or entertaining at night. Every shot was built around that vision, from walking to the sand to afternoons by the pool or sauna, rinsing off outside, and ending by the fire.

Post-production was just as deliberate. We started with a teaser to build anticipation and then released the full film with carefully chosen music and pacing. The final product went beyond showcasing a property. It captured the Malibu dream in motion.
